Maison Louis Marie is the result of a long, rich family history with scents, beginning with Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars: a pioneer of French botanical history who was exiled to Madagascar, La Reunion, and the Mauritius islands during the French Revolution. There, he discovered a wide array of plant specimens, collecting over 2,000, and was later elected to the prestigious Académie des Sciences – the engravings and sketches visible on the fragrance packaging come from his journals.

Over 200 years later, Maison Louis Marie was born: drawing from her family's rich botanical history as inspiration and a guide, Marie created luxurious candles, perfumes, and skincare products that focus on distinguished, lasting scents infused with unique floral essences.
