ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Vivian Alarcón (born in Barcelona in 1995) is a Spanish artist known for her glass sculpture and mixed media techniques, which offer a profound study of spirit, emotions, and metaphysical states.

Her background in fashion design (IED Barcelona) allowed her to develop compositional precision combined with a deep sensibility for texture, which was prominently showcased at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao in 2019. Currently, specializing in glass as her primary language, she explores spiritual processes, hermetic tradition, and esotericism through sculpture and installations, aiming to create a material trace of the intangible.

Her parallel project, "Dom vv," where she delves into playful archetypes and childhood memories, includes creating exclusive collections for Casa Batlló and collaborating on window display projects for luxury brands such as Hermès.

Recognized for her unique vision, she was featured in AD Spain's Best of Spain (2024), and her photographs have appeared in iconic publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and M Le Monde, among many others.
