The entire production process is done by hand – starting with shaping the clay or porcelain, through applying the ceramic glaze, and culminating in 24-karat gold embellishment on the rim. A unique advantage of this production method is the individual and unrepeatable appearance of each piece.

The Nieborów Manufactory was founded in 1881 by Prince Michał Piotr Radziwiłł, owner of the Nieborów Palace, as the Factory of Artistic Faience and Tiled Stoves. In 2017, after more than a century, the Radziwiłł family returned to the Nieborów manufactory. Each item is stamped with the factory mark from Michał Piotr's time (the initials MPR with a princely mitre, est. 1881, and the inscription Majolika Nieborów) and signed with the initials of the contemporary artists. This is the only place in Poland where majolica is created in its original building, using traditional technologies and local materials.
