DESCRIPTION

The book "We Argue, We Make Up. I Accept What I Feel" will help your child understand the difference between conflict, fighting, violence, and anger. Written by experienced therapists and trainers Isabelle Filliozat, Violène Riefolo, and Chantal Rojzman, it is an excellent tool for explaining to children that not all conflict is bad. The authors, in a child-friendly way, demonstrate that a constructive conflict can be an opportunity to talk, listen to each side's arguments, and develop solutions that satisfy all participants. They demonstrate that conflict can help us develop empathy, respect for others, and a sense of self-worth and agency. In addition to tasks and exercises designed for children, the book includes a guide to help you support them in resolving conflict.

The "I ACCEPT WHAT I FEEL" series was created by Isabelle Filliozat and therapists and trainers who use her methods within the framework of positive parenting. Positive, meaning modern and empathetic, parenting emphasizes teaching how to do things, not what not to do. According to Isabelle Filliozat, sensible support, empathy, and clear guidelines and advice influence the development of a child's emotional intelligence. These are much more effective than commands, prohibitions, and accusations, which rarely work in the long term.

The books in the "I Accept What I Feel" series are designed for children aged 7-12 and their parents. Each book contains an extensive section with activities that support children in recognizing and managing their emotions. The exercises in the books help children face their fears and build self-awareness and self-confidence. Each book also includes a guide for parents, in which the author explains the reasons for your child's behavior. The guide section offers numerous tips and suggestions on what to do in a specific situation and how to support your young person in coping with emotions and difficulties.

A key element of the books in this series is their large format, attractive graphics, and paper that allows for writing, drawing, and pasting. Each book comes with stickers that can be used during activities and exercises.
