In January 2013, the future founder of That's Mine, Mette Neerup Mariager, became a mother. She searched for unique details to decorate her room, but found no products that satisfied her. This led her to decide to create them herself. The first thing she made was a rabbit-shaped hook, which she was so pleased with that she shared a photo of on her Instagram profile. The hook appealed to other mothers, who began ordering them en masse for their children. This was the impetus that allowed Mette to bring more ideas to life. The company's name also has an interesting and coincidental origin. Mette's daughter not only inspired the first products but also the company's name. When the little one started talking, she went through a period where she would call everything "that's mine" and that's how the name of the company "That's Mine" was born.
In 2015, That's Mine was officially founded. Although the brand has evolved significantly, the idea behind it remains the same. That's Mine prioritizes quality. Products are designed and manufactured in Denmark. All products must appeal to both parents and children. Further criteria include motivation for extended play, durability, and versatility.
