Doidy is a British brand that has been supporting parents and children around the world for over 70 years, offering innovative solutions that support the development of independence in young children . The brand was founded with the goal of creating products that facilitate learning to drink and eat naturally, supporting a child's healthy development.

Since its inception, Doida has been guided by the philosophy that children should be encouraged to be independent from an early age , and that the parent's role is to create a safe and comfortable environment for them to do so. Drawing on the expertise of pediatricians and pediatric dietetics specialists, the brand creates products that adapt to a child's developmental abilities while supporting their coordination and learning to drink properly.

Doidy is also environmentally conscious – the brand focuses on durability, quality and safety, using BPA-, phthalate- and PVC-free materials, which provides parents with peace of mind and children with comfort and safety in everyday use.

The brand's characteristic minimalist design and functionality make Doida products fit perfectly into the rhythm of modern families, supporting them in their daily rituals and in the process of expanding their child's diet in the spirit of BLW and methods supporting independence.

The value that distinguishes Doidy is also its commitment to parental education , promoting healthy eating habits and conscious parenting, which makes the brand not only a manufacturer, but also a partner for families at the stage of introducing their child to the world of independent eating and drinking.

At Bebe Concept, we value Doidy for its consistency, values, and innovation, thanks to which families can introduce healthy eating habits in a way that supports the child's development and independence from the first months of life.

The Doidy® cup was designed in 1950 by British draftsman Tom Pickering. The prototype of the "crooked" cup was created for the designer's son, whose pediatrician had observed problems with speech development. During a visit to a specialist clinic, the speech therapist recommended immediate bottle-free feeding and a form of speech therapy involving learning to drink from an open cup.

Because cups and glasses proved too large and uncomfortable for the boy, his father, Tom Pickering, decided to design a cup himself. This is how Doidy® was born – a handy, lightweight, and distinctively angled cup whose clever design allows the child to see the contents of the cup, eliminates the need to tilt their head back while drinking, and exercises important organs and facial muscles necessary for the correct articulation of their first words.
