The smell is pungent, warm and woody. Scent notes include tobacco, coriander and olive oil. All 19-69 fragrances are suitable for all genders.
“Chinese tobacco is inspired by the timeless masterpiece of the Apocalypse by Francis Ford Coppola. The film is set in Vietnam in 1969. The main influence on the smell was the powerful scene with opium smokers Aurore Clement and Martin Sheen. Classic line ''I love the smell of napalm in the morning''. The title of the film was inspired by a badge popular with hippies in the 1960s saying Nirvana now.
The iconic cosmetics brand 19-69 was founded by the Swedish artist and product designer Johan Bergelin, currently stationed in New York. The name 19-69 means freedom, tolerance and counterculture. The inspiration covers various iconic moments of the counterculture throughout history. Art, music and different cultures have also left their mark on products in terms of content, names and packaging. The different colors symbolize the rainbow, which in 1969 was a symbol of peace and freedom.
