Nana's Manners was born when Kathryn, a mother of three and an elementary school teacher, noticed that early elementary school children were struggling to use a knife and fork at lunchtime. As a result, teachers were rushing to cut up all the children's food during their lunch break. Recognizing the need for a teaching tool that supports children in learning this essential life skill, Kathryn decided to tackle the problem and design the brand's first product: a children's cutlery set.
Two years later, Kathryn and her husband Chris presented Nana's Manners , appearing on the BBC television programme Dragons Den.
At Nana's Manners , they design products that support parents and children on their food journey. Their innovative design philosophy focuses on children's learning and development. Their products are practical, appreciated by parents, and loved by children.
Nana's Manners aims to help children learn key life skills while supporting parents in building self-confidence and promoting their child's independence.
