The Leander story began in 1998, when Stig Leander's sister-in-law was expecting twins. Stig, a trained blacksmith with experience in bicycles and strollers, took on the challenge of designing a cradle that would simultaneously soothe and stimulate a child's development. Less than a year later, the Dane's first design was available in select stores in Denmark.
